Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your country of residence. The Service is not offered to, and may not be used by, persons or entities located in jurisdictions where the use of cryptocurrency wallets is prohibited or where doing so would cause us to violate applicable law (including U.S., EU, and UN sanctions).

2. Nature of the Service — non-custodial wallet

Conflux Wallet is a non-custodial, self-hosted software wallet for the Conflux Network. The Service does not constitute custody, brokerage, banking, money transmission, exchange, or investment-advice services.

• Your seed phrase, private keys, and wallet password are generated and stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to them.
• We cannot reverse, cancel, or recover any transaction. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
• We cannot recover lost seed phrases, lost passwords, or assets sent to the wrong address or to an incompatible network (for example, sending Core Space CFX to an eSpace address).
• We are not a counterparty to any transaction you make using the Service.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Backing up your seed phrase offline and keeping it confidential.
• Maintaining the security of the device on which the wallet is installed.
• Verifying every transaction (recipient address, network, amount, and gas fee) before signing.
• Confirming, before sending, that the destination address is on the correct Conflux execution environment (Core Space versus eSpace).
• The lawful sourcing, holding, and use of any digital assets you transact with.
• Determining and paying any taxes that may apply to your transactions.

If you lose your seed phrase, you lose access to your funds. Permanently. We cannot help.

4. Risks

Using a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet involves significant risk, including without limitation:

• Volatility and total loss of value of digital assets, including CFX.
• Smart-contract bugs, exploits, and malicious contracts.
• Phishing, social-engineering attacks, fake websites, and fake software.
• Network congestion, fee spikes, and stuck transactions.
• Forks, network upgrades, and changes to the Conflux Network outside our control.
• Failure or unavailability of third-party RPC providers, price feeds, bridges, or hardware-wallet vendors.

You accept all such risks. The Service does not provide investment, legal, financial, or tax advice.

5. Third-party services

The Service may interact with third-party networks, RPC providers, hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor), bridges, exchanges, staking contracts, and price feeds. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, security, fees, or availability. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms.

6. Software license

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ChainNest Labs grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download and use the Conflux Wallet desktop application for your personal or internal business use. Open-source components of the Service are licensed under their respective open-source licenses, which prevail over this section to the extent of any conflict.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for, or in connection with, any unlawful activity, including money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, or sanctions evasion.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law or by an applicable open-source license.
• Distribute modified or repackaged versions of the Service in a way that could be confused with the official release.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to confluxwallet.org or any related infrastructure.
• Use the Service to infringe the intellectual-property rights of others.

8. Intellectual property

The "Conflux Wallet" name, the ChainNest Labs name, the website content, logos, graphics, and visual design are owned by ChainNest Labs INC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license expressly granted in Section 6, nothing in these Terms transfers any right, title, or interest to you. "Conflux" and "CFX" are referenced for identification purposes only; we are not affiliated with the Conflux Foundation.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CHAINNEST LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF MALICIOUS CODE, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CHAINNEST LABS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, GOODWILL, OR DIGITAL ASSETS (INCLUDING CFX OR ANY TOKEN), ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChainNest Labs INC and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to confluxwallet.org at any time, with or without cause or notice. Because the desktop application runs locally on your device, you may stop using it at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. To the extent permitted by law, you and ChainNest Labs each waive any right to a trial by jury and any right to participate in a class action.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ChainNest Labs concerning the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them freely.
